This Policy applies to personal information collected from users of the Platform, Clients, members, partners, event attendees, vendors, job applicants, and other contacts. It does not apply to anonymized or aggregated data that cannot reasonably identify an individual. Third-party sites linked from the Platform have their own privacy practices.

3.1 Information You Provide
- Account registration: name, username, email, password, profile photo, bio, organization, job title, website, social links.
- Contact & transactional: postal address, phone number, billing and payment details (processed by third-party payment processors), tax or invoicing information.
- Communications: messages, posts, comments, feedback, support requests, survey responses.
- Content you upload: documents, images, audio, video, presentations, event materials, and other User Content.
- Event & application info: RSVP details, registration forms, eligibility or compliance information, identification used for event access.
- Professional credentials: professional licenses, certifications, disclosures, public company affiliations (where relevant to platform activities).
- Recruitment: resume/CV, employment history, references (for job applicants).
3.2 Information Collected Automatically
- Usage data: pages viewed, session length, clicks, features used, interaction timestamps, search queries, referral/entry pages, device and browser data.
- Technical data: IP address, device identifiers, operating system, browser type, screen resolution, language settings.
- Cookies and similar technologies: session cookies, persistent cookies, local storage, web beacons, tracking pixels used to provide, secure, and improve the Platform and to deliver targeted content.
3.3 Information from Third Parties
- Service providers, data enrichment services, background check providers, analytics partners, social networks (when you connect a social account), public sources, and business partners may provide additional data about you.
4. How We Use Information
We use personal information for legitimate business purposes, including to:
- Provide, operate, maintain, and improve the Platform and related services.

They are contractually limited to using data to provide services to IRC.
- Platform users: information you post publicly (profile, posts, comments, membership in groups) is visible to other users per your privacy settings.
- Business transfers: in connection with mergers, acquisitions, reorganizations, asset sales, or due diligence—subject to confidentiality and applicable law.

Retention periods vary by data type, the nature of the relationship, and legal requirements. When no longer required, IRC will securely delete or anonymize personal information.

Measures include access controls, encryption in transit, secure hosting, and organizational policies. No system is completely secure; we cannot guarantee absolute security. The Platform is intended for users aged 18 and older. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13. If we learn that we have collected information from a child under applicable minimum age without parental consent, we will take steps to delete that information. To the extent applicable, IRC provides information about categories of personal information collected, disclosed, and sold/shared in the prior 12 months upon request. The Platform may contain links to third-party websites, services, or integrations. IRC is not responsible for third-party privacy practices. Review third-party privacy notices before providing personal information.
16. Marketing Communications
We may send promotional emails, newsletters, and other communications about IRC events, products, and services. You may opt out of marketing communications by following the unsubscribe link in an email or contacting jordan@investmentrelationscollective.com. Transactional or service communications (account notices, billing, security alerts) are not subject to opt-out.
17. Job Applicants and Recruitment
For applicants, we collect resume/CV, contact details, employment history, references, and related data. Applicant data is used for recruitment, evaluation, and compliance. If hired, applicant data becomes part of employment records and is managed according to applicable law.
18. Volunteers, Contributors, and Community Members
Community contributions, posts, and publicly visible profile information are visible to other members per your settings and may be indexed by search engines. Treat public sharing as permanent; even after deletion, copies may remain in backups or logs.
19. Legal Process, Law Enforcement, and Safety
We may disclose personal information in response to lawful requests by public authorities, to comply with legal process, or to protect the rights, property, or safety of IRC, its users, or the public.
